At Eptura, I leveraged over a decade of Agile Coaching and Scrum Master expertise to coach the organization to enhance it’s Agile and Scrum practices, enhancing the organizations productivity, code quality and frequency of deployment, and ultimately everyone’s morale. I also played a pivotal role in orchestrating the Agile Coaching and Scrum practice for large teams based in India, ensuring alignment with project objectives while coordinating across multiple time zones.

As part of the Content Platforms Global Program Management team, I worked alongside Product and various Engineering teams, taking on the pivotal role of an Agile Coach. My core mission was to inculcate Agile best practices and principles, ensuring high-quality product increments were delivered.

Key Responsibilities and Activities:

  • Agile Ceremonies Management:
    • Facilitated daily stand-ups to track team progress.
    • Led sprint planning sessions to align the team’s focus for the sprint.
    • Oversaw backlog refinements ensuring clear prioritization of tasks.
    • Conducted retrospectives to discuss improvements and lessons learned.
    • Organized demos to showcase the team’s accomplishments to stakeholders.
  • Servant Leadership:
    • Fostered a culture of open communication and facilitated discussions.
    • Assisted in decision-making during meetings.
    • Resolved team impediments at multiple organizational levels.
  • Coaching and Mentoring:
    • Guided teams on their Agile journey, emphasizing the importance of self-organization.
    • Enhanced the team’s understanding and application of Agile methodologies.
  • Software Quality Assurance:
    • Implemented User Stories for clearer requirement definitions.
    • Promoted Test-Driven Development to ensure code quality.
    • Advocated for Continuous Integration and Continuous Testing to ensure software reliability.
    • Employed Automated Testing and Burndown charts for tracking and maintaining quality.
  • Metrics & Reporting:
    • Created and maintained metrics to offer visibility on program progress.
